Junior Kindergarten - Classroom procedures and expectations will continue to be reinforced. Previous songs will be reinforced. New circle songs, percussion echoing and varying dynamics will be introduced.
Kindergarten - Classroom procedures and expectations will be reinforced. Students will be introduced to age and grade appropriate circle games and will get opportunities to create their own movements and rhythms.
1st Grade - Classroom procedures and expectations will be reinforced. Students will learn to perform basic rhythmic notation through small group work. Half notes and whole notes will be introduced.
2nd Grade - The second-graders are continuing their final project of the unit. They will share their compositions on Student-Led Conferences, on May 28th--save the date! We will also continue working on songs for their upcoming concert as part of Spring Arts Day, which is on May 24th--also save this date!
3rd Grade - Classroom procedures and expectations will be reinforced. Students will learn to read and perform basic rhythmic notation. Students will continue to work on singing rounds.
